Archery Committee was formed at our Jan. 20th
first year was a busy one with first priority going to constructing our
practice range. The area selected for the range was a little
rough but with a lot of hard work and determination it soon was ready for
use. We have two bag targets hanging at 10, 20, and 30 yards and two
free standing targets placed at 40, 50, and 60 yards. The shooting
line is a cement pad with bow hangers conveniently located to the
rear. Pictures of the practice range can be viewed by clicking on
the "Picture" link above. Club members have access to the
practice range year round.
3D course is setup only for our scheduled shoots (click the
"Schedule" link above for our shoot schedule). The
course consists of 30 target stations laid out on approximately 80
acres of slow rolling hills with varying landscapes. We have a good
mix of Rinehart targets ranging in size from a skunk (the smallest) to a
moose (the largest). Target stations are well marked with their
corresponding target number as are the shooting stakes for the different
classes. Pictures of our
first 3D shoot can be viewed by clicking on the "Picture" link
