Coleta Sportsmen’s Club has agreed to open the trap
and skeet ranges with the following provisions:
1) STAY HOME if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19!
2) Only touch YOUR GUN when placing it in a gun rack or retrieving it.
DO NOT touch the rack or other guns.
3) Enter the Clubhouse to be placed on a squad, get a drink, use the
restrooms, wash your hands or settle up when finished for the day but
keep in mind social distancing.
4) Signup sheets will be at the desk, when you are ready to be placed on
a squad give the person at the desk your name to be placed on a squad.
5) Shooters will not be allowed to touch or adjust the equipment. The
voice calls are to be set as they are when we open and left alone.
6) When moving from Station 5 to Station 1 walk behind the
Scorekeeper.
7) Celebratory contact like hand shaking, high-fives, back-patting, etc
should be avoided.
8) Remember to maintain proper social distancing whenever possible!

The trapshooting ranges are open to the public every Thursday year round. Our lighted range allows for trapshooting to continue from 2pm until no shooters waiting. If you are going to be after 4:30pm in the winter or after 6:30pm in the summer please call Kent Bushman at 815-631-4868 and let him know so he doesn’t close up before you arrive.
Trapshooting fees are as follows:
$4.00 per round of 25 clays
$2.50 for 17 years of age and younger
$70 for 20 round shooting cards for current members = $3.50 per round
$75 for 20 round shooting cards for non members = $3.75 per round
12 & 20 gauge shells – available at going price
Family Fun Day & Kids Fishing Derby -- CANCELLED

We will be having our annual Family Fun Day & kids Fishing derby on September 26th. Registration will start at 10am. Every registered child will receive a prize. The drawing for prizes begins at 2pm.
You can fish anytime but we will measure fish from 11:30a-1:30p. A boy & a girl with the biggest fish will win a starter tackle box.
During the day there will be lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Kids Fishing derby, wagon rides, bingo, BB Shoot, Archery shoot, Petting Zoo, 50/50 raffle, and free food and drinks.
This is open to the public and everything is FREE.
